Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Craig Sutton along with Deputy Cody Faulconer arrested Jessica Birchfield age 21 of Sycamore Ave., Corbin on Monday afternoon December 14, 2015 at approximately 3:30 PM.
The arrest occurred off US 25 E, approximately 10 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a female subject was sitting naked outside a motel room there.
When deputies arrived at the location of the complaint they observed a female subject jumping up and down and running around in the parking lot.
Deputies had the subject put clothes on and conducted an investigation determining that she was under the influence.
Jessica Birchfield was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; disorderly conduct; and indecent exposure and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
