Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Boroviak arrested Daniel Osborne age 42 of Farris Jones Rd., East Bernstadt early Wednesday morning May 13, 2015 at approximately 7:18 A.M.
The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Deputy Boroviak after he located this individual slumped over the console in the driver seat of a running motor vehicle – a beige colored Jeep Grand Cherokee located in a church parking lot off US 25 approximately 4 miles north of London.
After some difficulty, Deputy Boroviak was able to awaken this subject and conduct an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
2 open alcoholic beverage containers were also located in the vehicle.
This subject told Deputy Boroviak that he had taken Percocet.
Daniel Osborne was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited and; failure of owner to maintain required insurance – first offense: and other traffic violations and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
