Laurel County, Ky - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Broughton along with Deputy Andrew Lawson arrested a London man early Saturday morning October 25, 2014 at approximately 1:10 A.M.
Arrested was Kraig Musick age 43 Of Philpot Road., London. The arrest occurred off Philpot Road, approximately 3 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to Arlington Green apartments, approximately 5 miles West of London regarding an alleged assault that had occurred between a male and female subject there.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that there had been a reported argument over money and that allegedly the male subject had choked the female subject and hit her in the stomach.
Deputies found red handprints around the female victim's neck and some of her hair had been pulled out and injuries to her stomach area.
The male subject Kraig Musick had left the area, but was located on Philpot Road and charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
