SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones reports the arrest of a Bronston man after a traffic stop uncovered suspected crack cocaine.
On April 9, 2025, at approximately 1:44am, Deputy Grant Bryant was patrolling in the area of Hwy 914 in Somerset, KY when he observed a motorcycle crossing the fog line of the roadway. Deputy Bryant traffic stopped the motorcycle, and was able to identify the rider as Ryan Anderson, 41 years of age, Bronston, KY.
While performing the stop, Officer Nick Taylor of the Somerset Police Department assisted while Deputy Bryant began citing Anderson. As Ofc. Taylor spoke with Anderson; probable cause was established to believe Anderson was in possession of illegal substances.
During a search of Anderson and the motorcycle, a substance was discovered in a pill container that is believed to be crack cocaine. Anderson was placed under arrest at that time and transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center.
During a subsequent search of the suspect at the detention center, Deputy Bryant was able to locate a pipe consistent with the use of illegal narcotics.
Ryan Anderson was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
