CORBIN, KY – Kentucky State Police Post 11, London is actively investigating the disappearance of a Whitley County juvenile who went missing Wednesday night April 16, 2025, around 10: pm. KSP was contacted Thursday regarding her disappearance.
The missing juvenile, Layla C. Wells, age 16, of Corbin, KY was last seen by a family member walking out of her residence around 10:00 pm.
Layla is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 130 pounds, with shoulder length hair and blue eyes. Layla was last seen wearing purple hoodie and black sweatpants. She had on black Nike slides with swoosh symbol painted red. She was carrying a small white purse with a gold chain strap.
