MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that on Friday, February 14, 2025, Chief Deputy Clifton Jones responded to a call in reference to a stolen Jackson Energy propane tank taken from PRTC and it being located at a residence on North Highway 421 behind a trailer, hooked up and being used.
When Chief Deputy Jones arrived at the scene he made contact with an individual there and began an investigation. During the investigation, a propane tank was discovered behind the residence and was confirmed to be the missing Jackson Energy tank taken from PRTC.
A suspect was identified as: Leslie Roberts, age 54, of Manchester, KY. Roberts was arrested and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.
Leslie Roberts was charged with:
- RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY U/$10,000
This individual was lodged in the the Clay County Detention Center.
