LONDON, KY - London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that the London Police Department’s Special Investigation Drug Interdiction Unit recently arrested Cleve D. Smith, age 52, of Barbourville, KY.
After a positive K9 indication, the LPD's Drug Interdiction Unit located and seized a large quantity of suspected Methamphetamine and a handgun.
The suspect, Cleve Smith was arrested and later lodged at the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Cleve Smith was charged with:
- Trafficking In Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (>or=2 Grams Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Handgun by a Convicted Felon
