SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones reports that on Monday, August 19, 2024, deputies responded to 1760 Highway 90 in Bronston, KY after receiving a call of a gunshot victim at that location.
When deputies and other law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene, a male victim identified as Myron Flanagan was found deceased near his residence in an apartment complex at 1760 Highway 90.
The suspect, later identified as Kevin L. Jasgarszewski, age 50, was taken into custody as he was attempting to flee the scene in his vehicle.
The arrested suspect, Kevin Jasgarszewski was also determined to be a resident in the same apartment building as the deceased individual, Myron Flanagan.
Kevin Jasgarszewski was lodged at the Pulaski County Detention Center, charged with:
- MURDER
- POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON
According to the jail website, at the time of this publishing, the accused remains lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $500,000.00 Cash or Property bond.
Detective Branson Patterson with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is continuing the investigation.
Detective Patterson and deputies were assisted at the scene by the Burnside Police Department.
