MANCHESTER, KY (September 07, 2024) — Manchester Mayor Steve Collins released the following statement regarding the active shooter situation on Interstate 75 north of London.
I have reached out to Mayor Weddle and hopefully this incident will be over soon.
After discussing the situation with Manchester Police Department Chief Jeff Couch, four of our MPD Officers have been dispatched to London to assist in any way possible.
Hats off to these young MPD Officers who were very willing to go help our neighbors!
