LONDON, KY — Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Cyruss McVey arrested Christopher Barry Goins age 48 of Louisville, KY on Monday night August 30, 2024 approximately 9:33 PM.
The arrest occurred off Carrera Drive, approximately 1 mile west of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of a male subject apparently under the influence and passed out on the roadway there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located the suspect laying partially in the roadway and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
Christopher Goins was charged with:
- Alcohol Intoxication
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
