LAWRENCEBURG, KY - The Kentucky State Police is reporting that KSP Post 12 is investigating a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Anderson County.
The collision occurred near the intersection of U.S. 127 and Keaton Lane at approximately 9:51 PM on Saturday, July 27th.
Lynda Holland, 55 years of age, of Lawrenceburg, attempted to cross U.S. 127 in a dark portion of the highway. A 2010 Ford F-350 was traveling North on U.S 127 and struck Holland causing fatal injuries.
Anderson County Coroner was requested and pronounced Lynda Holland deceased on the scene and the next of kin was notified.
Troopers are still investigating at Post 12.
