LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed arrested Christopher Collins, age 43 of London on Friday evening July 19, 2024 at approximately 6:12 PM.
The arrest occurred on Guy Green Road, approximately 5 miles southwest of London after Deputy Reed was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communications Ctr. to a complaint of a male subject possibly under the influence there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Reed located the suspect in the roadway and noted that he was stumbling and struggling to keep his balance.
An investigation was conducted and this subject was determined to be under the influence.
Christopher Collins was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
