LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Brandon Collins age 36 of Berea, KY on Sunday night July 7, 2024 at approximately 11:30 PM.
The arrest occurred at exit 49 off I–75 approximately 8 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communications Ctr. to a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver at a business there.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located the suspect vehicle, a red Pontiac G6 and conducted an investigation on the driver.
During the investigation it was determined that the driver was under the influence. Brandon Collins was arrested and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Brandon Collins was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
