LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's deputy Daniel Reed arrested Austin Kidd age 27 of Corbin on Thursday afternoon July 4, 2024 at approximately 4:17 PM.
The arrest occurred in southern Laurel County approximately 9 miles South of London after Detective Reed was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communications Ctr. to an out-of-control individual there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputy Reed noted hearing a commotion inside the residence that could also be heard by nearby neighbors.
After an investigation, a subject identified as Austin Kidd, age 27 of Corbin, KY was arrested and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Austin Kidd was charged with:
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Menacing
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
