Golden Alert Cancelled After 81 Year-Old Reported As A Missing Elderly Person In Laurel County, Kentucky Was Located Safe

LONDON, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Tommy Grimes, age 81 who was reported as a missing elderly person on Friday, June 21, 2024 and a Golden Alert was issued has been found safe and the Golden Alert cancelled.

Tommy Grimes age 81, a reported missing elderly person was last seen off U.S. 25, two miles north of London on Thursday, June 20th at 4:00 P.M. wearing a plaid red western, blue jeans, and black shoes. He is 5" 9", 200 pounds, thin build, partially gray above ear hair. This individual is driving a white colored Freightliner reefer box truck and may be in Florida somewhere.
