LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested William David Burke age 44 of Owensboro, KY on Sunday afternoon May 19, 2024 at approximately 5:03 PM.
The arrest occurred on Palomino trail, approximately 10 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a red Dodge charger that had no registration sticker on the license plate and failed to stop at a stop sign.
During the stop the driver was determined to be under the influence.
William David Burke was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Disregarding stop sign
- Improper display of registration plates.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
