LONDON, KY - The London Police Department (LPD) is reporting that on June 6th, 2024 at approximately 1:35 a.m., LPD Officer Jordan Childers arrested Audia Collins, age 22 of London, KY.
Officer Childers responded to a report of an intoxicated male in a blue pickup.
After locating the vehicle, Officer Childers observed a moving violation and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.
Upon making contact with Collins, the operator, Officer Childers detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person and had him step out of the vehicle.
Collins was requested to submit to Standard Field Sobriety Tests, and upon completion, was determined to be under the influence and placed under arrest without incident.
This individual was later lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Audia Collins was charged with:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence of Alcohol 1st Offense
- Failure to or Improper Signal
