LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Amanda Neal age 42 of Abilene, Texas on Sunday evening May 26, 2024 at approximately 7:20 PM.
The arrest occurred on Hawk Creek Road, approximately 6 miles west of London while Deputy Roberts was investigating a two vehicle traffic crash there.
During the investigation, Deputy Roberts determined that the driver of a Kia Sportage involved in the crash was under the influence.
Amanda Neal was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
