LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel along with Detective Hunter Disney and London City Police detective Dillon Blair arrested Danny Puckett age 47 of London on Friday afternoon May 31, 2024 at approximately 12:32 PM.
The arrest occurred off Cabin Ridge Road, approximately 12 miles east of London.
It was determined during the the investigation that this individual had allegedly taken a large amount of cash from a drop box at local bank in London, KY.

In addition, this individual was found in possession of five handguns and was determined to be a convicted felon.
Danny Puckett was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking – $1000 or more but under $10,000
- Five counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
