LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Peyton Jackson, age 30 of Corbin on Friday evening May 17, 2024 at approximately 6:44 PM.
The arrest occurred on American Greeting Card Road while Deputy Roberts was investigating a two vehicle injury traffic crash there.
While conducting his investigation at the scene, Deputy Roberts noted detecting the strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this individual who had been driving a gold colored Chevrolet Malibu.
This individual was determined to be under the influence and was was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries and upon release from the hospital was transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center and lodged.
Three individuals in the other vehicle were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Peyton Jackson was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited
- Three counts of assault – 4th degree
- Wanton endangerment – first-degree
