LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Jamie Patton Gilbert age 42 of Corbin on Thursday night May 9, 2024.
The arrest occurred on Happy Hollow Road, approximately 4 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a maroon colored Cadillac that failed to signal a turn.
During the stop the driver initially would not identify himself or produce identification.
An investigation was conducted and the driver was determined to be under the influence.
In addition, upon arrest the driver finally identified himself with an ID card and it was determined that he was operating on a suspended license and had two outstanding warrants.
Jamie Gilbert was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- Failure to signal
Also, this individual was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Probation violation
In addition, the subject was charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
