JESSAMINE, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) reports that KSP Post 7, Richmond is still asking for the public’s assistance as part of an ongoing missing person investigation.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Currently, we've identified a vehicle that Timothy F. Sterner Jr. was reportedly driving on Sulphur Well Road in Nicholasville near River Road. This vehicle was involved in a single-vehicle collision on April 9th, 2024.
Upon arrival at the scene, investigators found the vehicle unoccupied. Items believed to belong to Mr. Sterner Jr. were discovered.

LANCASTER, Ky. (April 12, 2024) –The Kentucky State Police Richmond Post is asking for the public’s assistance as part of an ongoing missing person investigation.
KSP Post 7 was contacted on April 11, 2024, in reference to a missing Garrard County man. Initial investigation indicates Timothy F. Sterner Jr, 27 years old, of Lancaster, KY was last seen on April 9, 2024, near Haselden Heights Road in Lancaster. He is described as a white male, 5’3” tall, 180 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Dark blue hat with yellow trim, Gray T-shirt, blue jeans with paint splatter, and white nike tennis shoes with a gray nike symbol. Mr. Sterner also has several tattoos on his body.
