LONDON, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that a juvenile who was reported to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office on April 17, 2024 as a missing-juvenile runaway, age 16, has been located safe by Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts.
Lucian Skylar Hunter, age 16, was found safe by Deputy Bobby Roberts at 12:50 A.M on Friday, April 19, 2024. No other information regarding the juvenile was released by the Sheriff's office.
Once the missing juvenile was reported to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, the department immediately utilized their Facebook page distributing a poster with a photo that also asked for the public's assistance and provided all the various ways to contact the Sheriff's Office.
A press release was also issued to news outlets with a photo and all available information regarding the reported runaway juvenile.
Before being located by Deputy Roberts, this individual was last seen off KY 1228 in northern Laurel County at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday night April 17th, 2024 driving a blue VW vehicle.
