McDOWELL, KY - The Floyd County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: Deputies patrolling in the McDowell community Saturday night attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations.
The vehicle attempted to elude deputies then later stopped in a private driveway where the driver then fled on foot.
After being captured, the driver, Rebecca Autumn Rose was arrested and charged with numerous drug related charges including:
- Trafficking in Fentanyl 1st degree
- Trafficking Controlled Substance, Heroin 1st
- Trafficking Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine
- Trafficking Controlled Substance drug unspecified, oxycodone 15, greater than 100
- Trafficking Controlled Substance drug unspecified oxycodone
- Fleeing or evading police vehicle
- Fleeing or evading police on foot
- Resisting Arrest
- Failure to produce insurance card
- Speeding 20 mile over the limit
- Reckless driving
- Operating motor vehicle while under the influence of a sub 1st off (agg cir)
Rose was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center in Prestonsburg, KY.
