BARBOURVILLE, KY - On February 28, 2024, LT Sam Mullins, arrested Ricky Smith, age 41 of KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant.

After making contact with the female, she advised that she had wanted to leave the residence but her boyfriend would not let her. . Deputy Williamson also observed marks and bruising on her neck area. Deputy Williamson arrested Mark Anthony Baker age 31 of Corbin, KY charging him with Assault-4th Degree. On March 18, 2024, SGT Jesse Smith arrested Elizabeth Dawson age 33 of Lexington, KY. charging her with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument-1st Degree when she attempted to rent a U-Haul in Corbin using a fake ID. Elizabeth Dawson was also wanted on two Fayette County Bench Warrants for two counts of Probation Violation charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

The caller advised he was leaving Buckeye Branch. in Flat Lick. LT Mullins located Jeffery Hammons at the Wildcat Market in Flat Lick. A loaded semi-automatic handgun and two loaded extra magazines were found in his possession. Jeffery Hammons age 57 of Gray, KY, who is a convicted felon. was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
