WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement regarding the Senate confirming the nomination of Todd Inman, a Calvert City, Kentucky native, to the National Transportation Safety Board:
“I congratulate Todd Inman on his confirmation to the National Transportation Safety Board. Our transportation system is rapidly changing, and the safety and security of Americans must continue to come first. Todd brings a deep understanding of transportation safety and years of public service to the Board, previously serving at the Department of Transportation and as Florida’s Secretary of Management Services. I’m pleased to see Todd lend his talent and experience to improving public safety, and I know he will make Kentucky proud.”
Inman, a Calvert City native, spent two successful decades leading his insurance agency in Owensboro, Kentucky, before pivoting to public service. He joined the Department of Transportation (DOT) in Washington as Director of Operations and later served as Chief of Staff to the Secretary. Following his service at DOT, Todd was confirmed with an overwhelming bipartisan vote in the Florida State Senate to serve as the Secretary of Management Services.
