LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root reports that on February 29th, 2024 at approx. 1025 A.M. Laurel County Sheriff’s Detective/U.S. Marshal Warrant Task Force Officer Hunter Disney along with other U.S. Marshal Service Task force members and Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Joseph M. Johnson age 22 of London, KY.
Joseph M. Johnson was arrested off Dog Branch Road, approximately 9 miles west of London charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Rape – first-degree
- Endangering the welfare of a minor
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
