LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Brooke Neal age 27 of London on Tuesday night February 27, 2024 at approximately 8 PM.
The arrest occurred on Old Way Road, approximately 4 miles east of London after Deputy Roberts conducted a traffic stop on a red colored Dodge Journey. An off duty city police officer observed the vehicle weaving on the roadway and causing a vehicle to leave the roadway to avoid collision.
The off-duty officer phoned 911 with direction of travel and type and color of vehicle. Deputy Roberts located the vehicle and conducted an investigation on the driver who was determined to be under the influence.
In addition, it was learned that the driver’s license were suspended.
Brooke Neal was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
