LONDON, KY - The London Police Department reports that on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at approximately 11:19 P.M., London PD Officer Ryan Jackson arrested Rebecca Sharp, age-42 of London, KY.
While on routine patrol through Levi Jackson State Park, Officer Jackson observed a vehicle cross the center line making a wide turn and conducted a traffic stop.
Upon contact with the operator, Sharp, he noted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person.
Sharp was requested to step out of the vehicle and due to her level of intoxication, was unable to follow directions for the Standard Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest without incident.
This individual was later lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Rebecca Sharp was charged with:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence - 2nd Offense
- Driving on DUI Suspended License - 1st Offense, and other minor traffic charges.
