LONDON, KY - London PD is reporting that on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at approximately 5:57 P.M., Officer Hobie Daugherty arrested Crystal G. Mullins, age 45 of Annville, KY.
LPD Officer Hobie Daugherty was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle on the side of the road with its flashers on.
Officer Daugherty turned around to provide assistance but noted that when he made contact with the operator, he detected a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The operator, identified as Crystal G. Mullins, age 45 of Annville, KY advised that she had pulled over as her check engine light had come on.
Officer Daugherty noted that Mullins appeared to be lethargic and had slurred speech and had her step out of the vehicle to complete Standard Field Sobriety Tests.
Upon completion, Officer Daugherty determined Mullins to be under the influence and placed her under arrest.
During the search incident to arrest, Officer Daugherty located a baggie containing, what Mullins advised was Marijuana, on her person.
Mullins was arrested without incident and transported to the Laurel County Detention Center.
Crystal G. Mullins was charged with:
- Operating a Motor U/Influence of Substance - 1st Offense
- Possession of Marijuana
- Other minor related traffic offenses
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
