LONDON, KY - The London Police Department is reporting that on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at approximately 1:53 A.M., Sgt. Wade Mitchell arrested Andrea L. House, age 39 of Lily, KY.
LPD Sgt. Wade Mitchell was dispatched to Betty Jane Apartments for a suspicious vehicle complaint.
Upon arrival, Sgt. Mitchell located a vehicle matching the description given and made contact with the operator, House, as she was exiting the vehicle.
Sgt. Mitchell observed that she was acting erratic and had trouble keeping her balance. Sgt. Mitchell had House complete Standard Field Sobriety Tests, and upon completion, determined that she was under the influence.
House was placed under arrest without incident and later lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Sgt. Mitchell was assisted on scene by Officer Ryan Jackson.
Andrea L. House was charged with:
- Operating Motor Vehicle U/Influence of Controlled Substance - 3rd Offense
- Other minor traffic related offenses
