MT. VERNON, KY - The Rockcastle County Sheriff's Office will be conducting Traffic-Safety Checkpoints at the following locations listed below during the month of January, 2024.
These checkpoints are being conducted in an effort to remove Intoxicated Drivers from the roadways in Rockcastle County and Kentucky.
The Rockcastle County Sheriff's Office will be concentrating on these locations:
North Wilderness Rd and Lake Linville Road Intersection
I-75 South off ramp at the 62 exit and North Wilderness Road
I-75 South off ramp at the 59 exit and South Wilderness Road
Hwy 461 and White Rock Road Intersection
Hwy 150 and South Main Street Brodhead
South Main Street Brodhead and Hwy 1505 Intersection
Hwy 1505 and Sweetwater Road Intersection
North Wilderness Road just South of the Rockcastle/Madison County Line
Hwy 490 and Red Hill Road Intersection
Hwy 150 and Williams St.
West Main Street Mt. Vernon in Front of Rockcastle County Middle School
Copper Creek Road and Possum Kingdom road
Flat Gap Road between the tunnels
East Fork Skaggs Creek Rd. and Remote Drive.
South Wilderness Rd. and Hwy 490
Lambert Rd. and Tucker Circle
Hwy 39 & Hwy 328 Bee Lick Rd.
South Wilderness Rd. and Mullins Station Road
