LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root on Monday, November 27th, 2023 announced that: A toy drive is being held at the Laurel County Sheriffs Office for gifts to be given to deserving children.
The toys will be given out on Friday, December 22nd, 2023 at the Laurel County Sheriffs Office.
This is the 3rd annual OPERATION POLAR EXPRESS toy drive to help deserving children have a brighter Christmas.
A collection box has been set up in the front office of the Laurel County Sheriffs office to accept donations which will be received through December 22nd.
Donations can be dropped off at the Sheriffs Office Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. thru 4:00 P.M.
Help us to help children that may not have much of a Christmas this year.
Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner is coordinating the program.
