LONDON, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Daniel Reed arrested Carl E. Meade, age 78 of London, KY on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
This individual was arrested Thursday without incident on an Indictment Warrant near KY 1006 in Laurel County.
Mr. Meade was transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
Carl Meade was charged with:
- A Laurel County Indictment Warrant further charging him with 8 counts of Sexual Abuse - 1st Degree
This charge comes from a case investigated by the Laurel County Sheriff's Office in 2020.
According to the Laurel County Correctional Center JailTracker, Mr. Meade is lodged in the facality, and is being held on a $100,000 Cash bond with no court date currently scheduled.
