BELFRY, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that KSP Post 9, Pikeville received a call on Friday, October 6, 2023, regarding a shooting in the Belfry community of Pike County.
KSP troopers and investigators responded to a residence on State Highway 292 W where they discovered three subjects had been shot.
The initial investigation indicated that Jacob Adair, 28 years old of Belfry and Rodney Estep, 38 years old of Lexington suffered fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pike County Coroner’s Office.
Additionally, Chasity Adair, 28 years old of Belfry suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
As a result of this investigation, the following individuals were arrested and lodged in the Carter County Detention Center:
Orlando Pack, age 25 of Cincinnati Ohio is charged with:
- Murder (Attempt) and two counts of Murder (Complicity)
Jolon McCree, age 22 of Cincinnati Ohio is charged with:
- Murder (Attempt) and two counts of Murder (Complicity)
Devon Overstreet, age 26 of Cincinnati Ohio is charged with:
- Murder (Attempt) and two counts of Murder (Complicity)
Detective Joshua Scott is leading the investigation.
He was assisted on scene by KSP personnel and Appalachian First Response Ambulance Service.
