Manchester Police Department and CVADD Host "Child Passenger Safety Check" Event for Clay County, Kentucky Families

MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department (MPD) is reporting that: In celebration of National Child Passenger Safety Week, MPD Chief, Jeff Couch and Assistant Chief, Antonio Dodson partnered with Dreama Wright, Highway Safety Coordinator of the Cumberland Valley Area Development District (CVADD) for a "Child Passenger Safety Check" event.

During the event, held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in Manchester, KY at the MPD/Clay County 911 building in downtown Manchester, families were instructed on how vital the correct car seat and its proper installation is to saving the life of a child passenger traveling in a vehicle that's involved in an accident or a sudden stop to avoid a collision.
