DRY RIDGE, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:21 A.M. KSP Post 6, Dry Ridge received a call from Harrison County Dispatch reference an incident that occurred on U.S. 27 north of Cynthiana.
The first call came into Cynthiana Dispatch at 12:11 A.M. that a male subject had fallen from a moving vehicle near Northside Drive.
The male subject was identified as Jayden Beamon (18) of Cynthiana.
Addison Perkins (18) of Cynthiana was operating a 2002 Chevrolet pickup when the incident occurred.
Mr. Beamon was transported by ambulance to Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was later transported to Albert B. Chandler/ University of Kentucky Hospital where on Sunday, September 10, 2023 he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Currently this matter remains under investigation by KSP Post 6 Detectives.
