LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: A Laurel Sheriffs Deputy has been presented with the Governor's Occupant Protection/Traffic Safety Award for year 2022-2023.
Pictured is Laurel Deputy Noah Ritchie who was presented the prestigious safety award that recognizes officers and agencies for their efforts in reducing traffic fatalities and injuries on Kentucky's roads.
Sheriff John Root stated he is proud that Deputy Ritchie was recognized for his efforts.
