PINEVILLE, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) has been requested by the Bell County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred at 7:33 p.m. EST on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Bell County.
At the request of BCSO, detectives from KSP Post 10, Harlan arrived on scene. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A male suspect was pronounced deceased on scene by the Bell County Deputy Coroner.
