LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that on Tuesday morning August 22, 2023, Sheriff's investigators developed a lead on a suspect from a reported burglary and identified, located & arrested the individual.
Dakota W. Smith age 26 (no address listed) was taken into custody off U.S. 25, one mile north of London.
Dakota Smith was charged with:
- BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Please help us identify the suspect pictured in a surveillance photo from a burglary off U.S. 25, just north of London Sunday night 8-21-2023.
