LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Wes Brown with assistance from London City Police Officer Andrew Lawson arrested Garrett Franklin Elmore age 34 of Williamsburg early Friday morning August 11, 2023 at approximately 5:09 AM.
The arrest occurred at a business off Highway 312 after information was developed on the location of this wanted individual.
It was determined that Garrett Elmore was wanted on six outstanding warrants including:
A Whitley Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court for sentencing regarding charges of:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
A Whitley District Court complaint warrant of arrest obtained by Corbin police officer Chris Brown charging:
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
A Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
A Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Contempt of court
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
A Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
A McCreary County District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court regarding flagrant nonsupport
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
