LONDON, KY - A woman who appeared to be passed out at a stop light was arrested by London Police for operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Christy N. Morgan, 43, of Sublimity School Road, London, was arrested at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 by London Police Officer Hobie Daugherty, assisted by Officer Coty Arnold and Officer John Inman.
According to Officer Daugherty’s report, Laurel Dispatch received a call about a female that appeared to be passed out at a stop light.
Officer Arnold located the vehicle and made a traffic stop on Chris Hamlin Memorial Lane.
It was apparent immediately that Morgan was manifestly under the influence, Officer Daugherty wrote; She was lethargic, had slurred speech and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her person.
Morgan failed several field sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to jail.
Christy Morgan was charged with:
- DUI
- Failure to or Improper signal
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
