LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Josh Velasco arrested Joshua Todd Settles age 28 of London on Monday afternoon July 24, 2023 at approximately 4:09 PM.
The arrest occurred off River Road, approximately 5 miles south of London after Deputy Velasco was dispatched to an alleged assault complaint there, and was hitting his head against the ground.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Velasco encountered the suspect and attempted to conduct an investigation.
The suspect began yelling and screaming obscenities and creating a scene there. This individual was arrested and transported to jail.
Joshua Settles was charged with:
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
