LEXINGTON, KY - The Lexington Police Department is reporting that: On Sunday morning July 9, 2023, at around 4:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Winchester Road for shots fired.
When officers arrived, they located vehicles that had been struck by gunfire.
At 5:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to a local hospital for a male and female suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the victims were shot in the 900 block of Winchester Road.
At this time, no suspect information is available and the investigation is ongoing.
