LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Melinda K. Folmar age 46 of Manchester, KY early Sunday morning June 11, 2023 at approximately 9:31 AM.
The arrest occurred in a business parking lot off KY 472 in London after Deputy Houston was dispatched to a complaint of a female subject apparently passed out in her vehicle slumped over the steering wheel with the engine running there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Houston located a black Chevrolet Equinox and upon awakening the driver an investigation was conducted and the driver was determined to be under the influence.
Melinda Folmar was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
In addition, this subject was charged with:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
