LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen arrested Rocky Vaughn age 37 of Chapel Rd., East Bernstadt on Saturday evening May 20, 2023 at approximately 7:31 PM.
The arrest occurred off KY 3094 (old Hwy 30) approximately 5 miles north of London after Deputy Allen was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject apparently passed out in the ditch off KY 30.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Allen located the subject passed out facedown in a ditch line.
Upon finally awakening the subject, an investigation was conducted.
Deputy Allen also had EMS respond to the scene to check the individual for possible medical conditions and learned that there were no medical complications.
Further investigation determined that the subject was under the influence and was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Rocky Vaughn was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
