LEXINGTON, KY - The Lexington Police Department is reporting that at 2:09 A.M. on Monday, May 22, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Florence Avenue for a shooting.
When they arrived, they located a male victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, no suspect description is available.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Jalen Henderson, 19.
