WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, Deputy Brentley Patrick stopped a person on a bicycle who was creating a roadway hazard.
Following an investigation, it was determined the operator of the bike, who was identified as, Roger Johnson, age 56 of Williamsburg, KY, had suspected Methamphetamine and associated paraphernalia, he was arrested and transported to the Whitley County Detention Center.
Roger Johnson was charged with:
- DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
- POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)

WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Saturday, April 27, 2023, Deputy Jonas Saunders conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving in a reckless manner.
After conducting an investigation the operator, who was identified as, Kevin Lonzo Davis, age 39 of Williamsburg, KY, was found to have a DUI suspension on his license and suspected Methamphetamine, other drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Davis was arrested and transported to the Whitley County Detention Center.
Kevin Davis was charged with:
- POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
- DRUG PARAPHERNALIA - BUY/POSSESS
- RECKLESS DRIVING
- DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE
- DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE
- POSS OF MARIJUANA

WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Sunday, April 28, 2023, Deputy Jonas Saunders was dispatched to a welfare check on a subject walking in the middle of Highway 90.
Deputy Saunders located the male and conducted an investigation which determined the individual who was identified as, Alan Perkins, age 50 of Parker’s Lake, KY, was under the influence and had a large amount of Methamphetamine on his person.
Mr. Perkins was taken into custody and transported to the Whitley County Detention Center.
Alan Perkins was charged with:
- TRAFF IN CONT SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFF - (< 2 GMS METHAMPHETAMINE)
- PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLL SUB(EXCLUDES ALCOHOL)
