LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Joshua Farris Gilliam age 35 of Hickory Road, London on Tuesday night April 18, 2023 at approximately 8:50 PM.
The arrest occurred off Chadel Lane, approximately 4 miles west of London.
Joshua Gilliam was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest and transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
The warrant alleged that this subject had cut his ankle bracelet and absconded regarding charges of:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first offense – second-degree
In addition, this subject was charged on a 2nd Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging this individual left an assigned facility regarding charges of:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – third offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
