LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Wes Brown along with Deputy Stephen Walker arrested Jonathan Forbes age 60 of Corbin on Saturday evening February 25, 2023 at approximately 5:55 PM.
The arrest occurred off Byerly Road, approximately 13 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that Jonathan Forbes was wanted on a Franklin Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of :
- Theft by deception
- Theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000
- Probation violation for felony offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
